I want to use CrossLoad at our manufacturing facility however when I run CrossLoad it is telling me that I don't have active license.
Do I need to purchase a full CrossStudio license for each of the machines in the manufacturing facility I want to run CrossLoad on?
No you don't. We offer the CrossLoad for Production License for this purpose. With this license you can use a non-locked CrossLoad on all of your production machines at your production facility.

Do you have any plans to make the CrossLoad licensed with a key? The current DLL replacement process is a bit of a pain for our production test install process (I've managed to spend some time with problems that turned out to be Windows 7 lying that it had copied the files when it hadn't, so the licence test failed and the production process on the new production machine then fails).
CrossLoad for Production has no keys and there should be no DLL replacement process at all. The zip files sent out are self contained, I believe, with the Qt DLLs in place. All you do is install CrossWorks, don't activate it, install the packages you need, and then use the new CrossLoad executable...
My mistake. I understood that I had to replace the DLLs in the install folders of CrossWorks.
I'll give it a spin and see how I get on.
We have just followed the steps Paul outlined above. When we tried to use it, the program reported that it could not load the memory map file. It appears to be looking for a path within a path (e.g. c:\users\xxx\c:\abc\def). However, having reviewed the settings, and reverted to the crossload.exe file supplied with CrossWorks (which is not licensed on this machine), we get past this stage and get all the way through to "no valid license installed", suggesting it recognises the correct path.
That suggests to me that the Crossload for Production file is not performing is the same way or is introducing a problem with the path. Have we done something wrong?
