Activating Your Software (Shared Developer)

Shared developer products keys are locked to a Sentinel USB dongle. To activate any machine with the matching CrossWorks version installed, you will first need to download and then install the latest version of the Sentinel driver from the Gemalto website. Once the drivers are installed CrossWorks can be activated by inserting the Sentinel USB into any free slot on you machine. 

Activating Your Software (Named Developer)

As CrossWorks is licensed per developer, you can install the software on any computer that you use such as a desktop, laptop, and laboratory computer, but on each of these you must go through activation using your issued product key.

Install CrossWorks on your computer using the CrossWorks
installer and accept the license agreement.

Run the CrossStudio application.

Choose Tools > License Manager.

Enter your product key in the next box.

Choose which device to lock your activation to. Please do not use devices with mac addresses that are liable to change such as virtual adapters.

If you have a default mailer:

Click the 'Send e-mail' button

Using e-mail, send the registration key to the e-mail address
[e-mail]

If you do not have a default mailer:

Copy and paste all of the text produced into an email and send it
the e-mail address [e-mail]

By return you will receive an activation key.

Choose Tools > License Manager.

Click the 'Activate Product' button.

Paste the returned activation key into the dialog and click OK.
