I'm getting the "Cannot set latency timer" error message when I connect to the target using CrossConnect for ARM, what does this mean?
There is a known problem with the CrossConnect Classic which means that it will not work reliably on some, typically unpowered, USB hubs.
The error message "Cannot set latency timer" is symptomatic of this problem: if you get it try plugging the CrossConnect into a different, powered, USB hub or directly into one of the computer's USB ports.

My CrossConnect was plugged into a USB port (directly, not a hub) on my Dell laptop. I got the "Cannot set latency timer" message.
Then found this topic on the Support site. I then unplugged a powered hub with lots of devices on it which was attached to a different port on the computer.
Problem solved - CrossConnect works perfectly! Target is LPC1766 on Olimex LPC1766-STK board. Thanks Paul
