All my projects build fine using CrossStudio 4.6 in thumb debug and thumb release mode

I have installed CrossStudio 4.8 side by side to try it out but can not build any of my existing projects in thumb debug mode.

I get the following linker error >>

C:/Program Files/Rowley Associates Limited/CrossWorks for ARM 4.8/gcc/arm-none-eabi/bin/ld:--defsym:1: undefined symbol `__do_debug_operation_mempoll' referenced in expression

 

Any ideas on how to fix this?

  btw, thumb release builds fine using CrossStudio 4.8
