XWORKS Device Libraries
Hello All,
I'm looking for GNUARM based IDE and I'm wondering if XWORKS offers device libraries (LCD 2x16, graphic, RTC etc) too?
I downloaded the IDE but see only basic peripherial libs.
I'm also looking at MikroC for ARM from Eletronika, they have their own C complier that I don't trust very much but they have a lot of device libraries.

When CrossWorks 3 ships, we will provide a wide range of drivers in source form for SPI, I2C, graphic LCDs (including our own minimal graphics library). On top of that we provide drivers for a multitude of sensors (accelerometers, gyroscopes, magnetometers, temperature, humidity). And 2x16 LCD. And many others. These will use our Platform API to provide services and will be available on a wide range of target boards.

Hello Paul,
Thanks for the fast response.
I was planning to purchase an IDE ( Eclipse wasted my nerves) this year as the eval boards are on their way to us as we want to move from 8 bit AVR to ARM Cortex M3 ASAP . Having worked with CodeVisionAVR for years we are used to not having to write the basic drivers from scratch.
How soon are you planning to release CrossWorks 3?
Regards
Tomasz

I found some link to the new IDE:
http://www.rowleydownload.co.uk/snapshots/arm_crossworks_crossworks_v3_win_x86_setup.exe
is this the correct version? I would like to browse the help files to see the lib API.
regards
Tomasz
