Could not communicate with FET

We just got a TI MSP-TS430PN80USB demo board and we are trying to connect to it with a TI MSP-FET430UIF usb jtag emulator.  Every time we try to connect we get a "Can't connect to target USB: Could not communicate with FET" error.

 

I opened up IAR Kickstart and loaded a project and was able to connect and dowload code.  What can I try?

  After talking to support they suggested that I try the MSP430.dll that came with IAR.  I did that and it worked.  Hope this helps someone else in the future.
