Editor, block selection

Seems I am too blind to find. How can I select a text block in the editor? Usually this is done with the right mouse key, but even searching the help for a while, I can no see how to select/copy/paste a text block f.i. line 1 row 10 to line 5 row 20.

  Rectangular selection isn't supported.

  Oh, hard to believe. In more than 25 years I've never used a programmers editor without block selection. How can you guys live without that ;-)

  I never use it, so I don't see it's worth.  If I did, then I'd implement it.  Or if it got voted up.  Right now I'm working on the top-scoring item, TCP/IP stack.

  May we get an update on the status of the TCP/IP stack? I've used the uIP example that you ported (thanks!) for a couple of simple UDP apps but will admit to some curiosity as regards the formal release of the complete package.
