How to reset inherit behaviour?

Hello,

I would like to change the 'Linker Option-> Additional Output format' property of the RELEASE configuration to '.bin'.
But as I modified the same FLASH property earlier, this one seems to have priority when I do a BUILD with ARM FLASH RELEASE.
How can this behaviour be reset so that the RELEASE property determines the final build process?
The manual says
"You can restore the inherited value of a property by right clicking the property and selecting Use Inherited Value from the menu."

But I cannot see that 'Use Inherited Value'.
Could somebody please tell me where I find this menue?

  In the Properties Window (click View > Properties Window) select the configuration then right click on the property and select Use Inherited Value.

  Found it, although it would really be useful to have the "use inherited value" in the project Manager as well.

  I am on CW 3.4 for the mac. Everytime I click on "user inherited value" it crashes and I have to restart.

  If I have 2 solutions in a solution. One of the two children inherits from the parent the other one doesn't. How can I set or change that behaviour?

  dumb answer is delete the solution and start again. this time compile it from the parent solution instead of with the child solution.

  I can't reproduct the crash - are you using the properties window or the dialog?

  must have been that project. I deleted it as described above and now I don't get the crash either. Will watch for it tho.
