Implementation for STM32F107 in CrossWorks V1.7

Hi,

 

i want to integrate thr STM32F107 in CrossWorks V1.7. It does not exist a CPU-Support-Package for this controller. Is it possible to create the files i need for this on myself? Has anybody experiences in integrating a controller without the cpu support package?

  You can always do this yourself by creating a flash loader, the memory map files, and so on.  It's a big task, but possible.

  Do Rowley plan to provide a package for STM32F107 series for 1.7? If not could the package provided in V2 be converted more easily than starting from scratch?

  Hi,

  It's not possible for us to support both 1.x and 2.x at the same time.  We're putting new packages together for 2 because 2 has more features and capabilities to make it a better prospect for the newer chips.  You can try to support it in v1.7 using what you have hanging around, I'm not sure it's going to be straightforware.
