MSP430 Code factoring

Hi,

My code uses 99% of the flash of an MSP430F1611. I though to use Code Factoring Optimization to get more free space.

For updgrading our software in-situ, part of the code is copied in RAM while upgrading. So this part of the code cannot be fragmented by this optimization.

Is there any way to avoid a part of the code to be optimized ?

  Fraid not this is a global optimisation done by the linker. Can you build your RAM code as another executable?
