Upgrading Projects

We have a number of projects on older versions of compiler and the support suggestions often revolve arround upgrading to the later versions.

Our licence covers newer versions but we have been unable to get our code to run if we update the project.

3.5  -> 3.7

3.5 -> 4.x

Is there a list of required changes to get a project to update sucessfuly?
