editing files which are protected

When using the tutorial in the CrossWorks for Arm Reference Manual (about page 80) It instructs you add files.  (Cntrl+N) These files are all empty and for convenience can be populated with text from files provided in the earlier original tutorial (1.4.7 )

Copy and pasting these files in the corresponding edit pages creates protected files (the file name is shown in RED)

The way to create an editable file is Save main,xxx And Close  Cntl+K, D

and taking the option to close ignore changes

The description at the bottom of page 80 is inadequate.

The tutorial needs updating as the screen shots seem no longer to apply to Arm Crossworks 4.6
