Development & Debugging for Beaglebone Black/Debian

In the past I successfully configured and used Eclipse to cross-compile, download, and debug applications for Linux on the Beaglebone Black (Rev. C).  I would like to be able to do this using Crossworks/CrossStudio if possible.  Is there any help available to make this happen?

  Sorry no embedded linux support - just bare metal. We are considering implementing this.

  What more is needed than the tool chain?  Why is it a problem?
