Migrate from Cortex M3 to Arm R4 CPU - is this feasible?

We have a currently shipping design using a Cortex M3, with Crossworks. Our vendor is proposing a new generation design that would use an R4 CPU,  and the part also has a Cortex M3 on board. The vendor is pushing uCLinux with it. 

Can we "just" port our existing design from the M3 to the R4 using Crossworks? 

Do we need to change our license to support the new CPU if the software is relatively easy to port to the R4?

  The Cortex-R4 is supported in Crossworks v3.
