Using libmem loader with eMMC and filesystem

Hi,

I want to initialize an eMMC memory (attached to a LPC1788) which has an embedded filesystem by JTAG.

Is it feasible to use libmem for this purpose or does it have limitations which prevent me from doing this? Are there better options?
