ST-Link problem with STM32VLDISCOVERY - DEV_CONNECT_COMM_ERR

I had a problem connecting to an STM32VLDISCOVERY board via the ST-Link interface with CrossWorks, resulting in a DEV_CONNECT_COMM_ERR. Contacted Rowley Support, and Michael suggested setting the "Connect with reset" project property to "No", which worked.

  Do you talk about a Windows environment ?

  I hope you have noticed that STLink/V1 is not supported by Crossworks under Linux.

  My suggestion: get the STLink Utility software from the ST website, and verify that you can connect to your board with this tool. If that works, you can go on looking at Crossworks issues.
