Stand-alone programmer recommendations?

I need to send a field service tech out with a helmet, flak jacket, tool-kit, and flash drive. I don't anticipate any firmware issues, so the ability to reload the firmware is just a contingency. Still, it might be necessary. He'll have occasional e-mail access if we need to send a new image.

Are there any favorite or recommended stand-alone JTAG programming tools out there? We'll need STM32 and NXP LPC21xx-series loaders. JTAG much preferred over serial for accessibility and device resource availability.

I tried crossload (which works great on the development box) but it errors-out with a "No valid license" report when I tested it on another PC.

  Oh, well. Ended up biting the bullet and building OpenOCD from the source package under msys/mingw, to use with an old Olimex ARM-USB-OCD device that was hanging around, looking forlorn. Add a couple of config files and Shazam! it loads right up.
