If I'm not mistaken, the Olimex parallel-port JTAG is a "clone" of the original Macraigor Wiggler. Try selecting the Wiggler in the targets list.

I've already done it, and no results. I wonder how I could localize the problem, if it is related to CrossWorks or Board or JTAG...?  Thx

It's been a while since I've fought with PC parallel ports but, if that's where the problem is, try changing the type of port to EPP or ECP. Try them both and if it's already one, try the other. This may mean changing the BIOS. Does the parallel port work with anything else?

What is the exact error message that you get when you try to connect to the Olimex JTAG?

Does the board "wake up" at all when you give it power? The power LED should illuminate.

I have that same dev board at home and I think that I may also have the Olimex parallel port JTAG, so I can give it a try to see if there are any peculiarities.

Thanks, Richard. I was trying this port with another board (my own project) with the same JTAG-LPT1, and it works well.  The power LED is fine. Crossworks doesn't "feel" this Olimex board simply, as like nothing is connected to LPT... This trouble takes place for two machines with XP in my office.

I did manage to find the Wiggler clone here and successfully connected to it and then downloaded to the STM32-P103 board from CrossWorks.

Since you can use the parallel JTAG with another board, that seems to eliminate the parallel port, cable, and JTAG dongle. Has that particular P103 board ever worked? At this point, I'd check the usual suspects: solder bridges on CPU pins, out of spec voltage, that sort of thing.
