MSP430 Launchpad with CrossWorks on a Mac

I'm wondering what success people have been having getting CrossWorks operational on a Mac to program an MSP430 Launchpad.  I've tried three "drivers" at this point.  The only one that has partially worked is the one referenced here:  <http://mspdebug.sourceforge.net/faq.html#rf2500_osx>

Unfortunately, CrossWorks regularly crashes when trying to connect/disconnect/debug programs, although often it does work successfully.  Has anyone else had better fortunes?  I'm running on Mac OS X Leopard (10.5.8) using CrossStudio 2.1.2.

CrossWorks seemingly can't connect to the LaunchPad through this CDC/VCP driver: <http://www.43oh.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=1591> I did remove the "kext" codeless driver mentioned above before trying this, too.

(The unofficial TI driver works great with the MSP-FET430UIF and MSP430FG4618 Experimenter's Board, BTW.)

  Hi JP,

   

  I can't get the mspdebug package to compile; can't find usb.h although I've installed libusb. Do you have any more information on how to get this to work?
