Since upgrading to the newer LPC1768 device libraries, my J-Link does not work, and throws random exceptions. It is not even capable of programming or erasing the part. Updating to the newest J-Link firmware and .dll from SEGGER does not fix it. The only solution was to re-install CrossWorks and install an old copy of version 1.1 of the LPC1000 device library that I had kicking around. I couldn't find this on the known issues list, and couldn't find an official bug-reporting forum, so here it is. Just though I'd mention it. I'm perfectly content using my workaround, but I thought I would mention it so it could get addressed for others' benefit.
It occurs on 3 of 3 PCs tested, and is independent of a given project. The bug seems pretty all-encompassing, so it shouldn't be hard to reproduce. On the other hand, if you would like more detail on my configuration please let me know.
