I still would like to know how to get stack usage in CrossStudio for MSP430. Have there been any developments on this? This really ought to be implemented by now, no?

Just initialize the stack contents to 0xFF, and periodically see what the low-level watermark is.  If you use CTL, stack usage is available in the Threads window.

    Isn't CTL for ARM?

CTL is our own tasking library that provides a consistent API across ARM, MSP430, and AVR.  So yes, it is for ARM, but it is also for MSP430 and AVR.

I'm sorry, I can't figure out how to get CTL for MSP430. Could you link me or explain how to get that, please?

It's in the product.  Read the documentation.

That's some top notch support for a $1500 product. Thanks.
