Multiple monitors - does it work?
Hello,
I am curious to know if anyone uses multiple monitors with Crossworks.
When having multiple windows open, the code window can get a little small sometimes.
Should I invest in a dual monitor video card and another monitor?
Thanks

It works well for me. I regularly have three instances of Crossworks open (debugging three different devices) and have HUDs scattered over both screens. There are a few quirks but overall it works fairly well. No problems with 1.7 either, although I usually dedicated one screen to my editor (Visual Studio) and use my second screen for debug, compiling, and minor corrections.

I am happily using OS X CrossWorks for ARM on a system with dual monitors, but only using one monitor. It had never occurred to me that CrossWorks might have dual monitor support. My definition of dual monitor support is the ability to have CrossWorks windows on both monitors simultaneously. I searched the online support and found one reference to running a second CrossWorks instance as a means to this ends. However, the reference is from December 15, 2009. Is this information still correct? My ultimate goal is to have a second "editor" window open on the secondary monitor. For example, I would like to view the stm32f4xx.h file on the secondary monitor while writing code in the editor on the primary monitor. Do I open the same Solution/Project in both instances of Crossworks? This is obviously a very low priority request, but any assistance that you could provide would be much appreciated.

Sure. Open a couple of files. Now grab one header, hold down the Ctrl key to avoid docking, and drag to your second monitor.
