Summary comparison to other IDEs?
I've done a little looking around and have been unable to find a good summary comparison of CrossWorks/Embedded Workbench/Code Composer Studio/etc to help with tool selection for an upcoming project.
I have seen anecdotal data for the relative compiler efficiencies, but nothing for the IDEs at large that helps me make sure I'm not missing some distinguishing feature in my ad hoc trials for evaluation. What I have pictured in my head is a feature comparison matrix full of check marks and data that will help identify where the offerings are different so I can spend less time experimenting to learn what's the same across the board and more time focusing on the differences that might really matter to my upcoming projects.
Can anyone point me at such a comparison matrix (or point out a "top N list" of distinguishing features that I shouldn't ignore when I'm evaluating)?
Thank you!

There's a lot of differences between IDEs, I think a feature matrix would just confuse you. I'm not sure that anybody independent has openly provided a matrix. We don't provide any feature matrix for any of our products because keeping them up to date is a pain, they can be wrong, they can be misleading, and they can be skewed. I wouldn't tryst any comparison coming from any supplier, but that's just me.
