Pilot/Pre-prod flashing?

Hi Guys,

 

I'm looking for what tool(s) I'll use to flash the pilot/pre-production parts, and wondered what was popular. Obviously once things are stable, we'll likely buy the chips pre-programmed, but at this stage we'll program them manually and I don't really want my dev tools seconded to production.

AT91SAM7S, on-pcb JTAG connector (10-pin FWIW)

 

Generic answers are good as this is a forum, not just a place I personally may get an answer.

If there's a specific dongle-related answer, I'm presently using a Turtelzer-2 with CW and could get another; I also have an Olimex ARM-JTAG-EW, though I failed to get that to work even with EWARM.

  Segger have J-Flash.  Or you can use CrossLoad for Production (non-locked version of CrossLoad).

  Good Grief -- I've just seen that CrossLoad for Production is a chargeable program, and the price!

  Do you sell any?

  I should only need to have a hundred  or two programmed before we have the chips pre-programmed for us. That price almost doubles my BoM cost!

  Sure do sell them.  If you need a couple of hundred chips programmed, just program them up yourself with your IDE or your own CrossLoad.
