Replacing Code in the Precompiled Library

Respected Sir,

I am using Rowley crossworks V2. And am using MSP430F2618 chip along with SALVO pro RTOS. I have EFFS-THIN library file provided by pumpkin but the library is specifically for MSP430F1xx series and hence I have to replace some functions from the library so that I can make the mmc code compatible with the F2618 series. Please tell me how can I replace some function in the pre compiled library such that whenever that function is called instead of the function from the library this function which I have written is being called.

  Functions in object files take precedence over functions in libraries - so if you just implement the function in your project it should replace any functions of the same name in a library.
