This would make an incredible productivity boost. I am currently spending a lot of my development time just adding include dependencies just to make existing source code and libraries to work. Essentially I am manually going through their makefiles and reproducing the same include structure in the crosssworks project. This could be easily automated.

Re. static analysis w.r.t. CrossWorks for ARM GCC has some static analysis capabily (stack usage estimation, null pointer arguments, use of unitialised variables etc.). It might be nice to be able to enable these through project properties and get a nice report at the end of builds.
