Can I use my existing linker script with CrossWorks for ARM?

 

Yes - add your linker script to the project and change it's "File Type" property to be "Linker Script". To change the "File Type" property of a file you must have the "Common" configuration set in the properties dialog/window.

  I have done this, but it seems it is still using the default linker script.  It is giving me a warning that is cannot fine entry symbol _start, as well as some other linking errors.

   

  This linker script works on another application using stand alone g++

  If you're using your own linker script then you need to also ensure that it works as expected with the CrossWorks libraries and startup code.  I guess you haven't done that.  You need to eyeball the startup code.  If you want to use your own linker script, you're on your own.
