Use external uploader with CrossWorks for ARM?

I'm using CrossWorks ARM to develop for an old ADuC7020MK board.  The freshly installed CrossWorks is:

    CrossWorks for ARM

    Release 4.10.6.2023102001.54505

    macOS x64

 

The ADuC7020 has a built-in serial program loader, and I can flash it that way with an external program, 'armlsd'.

 

I have not found a way to get CrossWorks to just flash the device without trying to debug it with JTAG.  (I do not have any JTAG devices.)

 

Can we tell CrossWork to upload only using ADI's serial protocol?

Or to upload using an external command?

  Thank you for the note. I was looking at that device; it's nice to know that it should work.

  (I know very little about jtag devices and am quite confused about their limits -- e.g., j-link edu mini does only Cortex-M, and wouldn't play with the ARM7TDMI of the ADuC7020. I think.)

  That's correct ARM7TDMI has JTAG only
