Using the debug immediate window

I'm using version 3.7.6 - don't want to update for a few weeks because I'm in the middle of something.

How do I print a variable (or structure element) as a float (or double)?

In the debug immediate window, if I press Home, the cursor moves to the beginning on the line. Pressing End does nothing.
