rectangular selection

Please allow us to have rectangular selection in the editor... I use this all the time (even if you do not). I spend a lot of my time in Visual Studio editor and in various Scintilla-based editors, including one that we have in our own product, and I really miss this... to the extend that I find myself using other products to edit code.

The editor is really important... we spend a lot of time in it...

  Agreed. Column editing is one thing I really miss from CodeWrite.  Makes converting an enum definition or list of #defines into a switch statement a trivial task.
