Vi Mode / Export "compile_commands.json"

Hi, saw this has been spoken about in the past but it's been well over a decade since then.

Purely a quality-of-life suggestion to add some kind of support for vi-like keybinds similar to what's available in other editors like VSCode.

Another thing that would be great is generation of "compile_commands.json" like what is possible with CMake projects. This would make using an external editor (like vim) a much better experience by providing a way for a linter like clangd to work with crossworks projects.
